What’s a source?

A source is a connection between a Specify repository and a file containing a type of design data Specify is collecting (e.g., a Figma file used to collect colors). According to your plan, the number of sources you can create will vary.

What’s a repository?

A repository is a place where you can collect all your design data in Specify. According to your plan, the number of repositories you can create will vary.

How can I monitor my billing?

You can track your billing in your Specify workspace settings.

Where can I find my billing history or change my plan?

You can access your plan information and view past charges in your workspace settings > billing. You can access your settings by clicking on your avatar in the top right corner of the app.


From here, you can:

  • View and change your plan

  • Update your credit card

  • Update the email to which we send invoices

  • View billing history, past invoices, and charges. We'll also show if a charge is failed or past due.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can always cancel your subscription by going to your workspace Settings > Plans. Once your plan is canceled, it will last until the end of the current month/year.

When does my subscription renew?

Your subscription automatically renews either monthly or annually. You can see the renewal date and amount in your workspace Settings > Billing.

Can I get a refund? How?

You cannot get a refund. You can however cancel your plan at any time. Fees will be charged for the current month/year.

How can I renew my subscription?

You can renew your subscription from your workspace settings: Settings > Workspace > Plans.
